Urban Congestion - RSML Planning Consultancy

Preliminary conceptual traffic plan; to obtain City Council approval. Improved mobility in the city or town provides a wide range of benefits, including more efficient public transport. RSML, as a consultant experienced in reducing urban congestion, works with the traffic management staff, to develop the optimum road pricing system – considering ANPR, DSRC, GNSS satellite - with emphasis on future requirements. Frequently the results of a road trial are used, to strengthen public support for the program.
Formal plan – RSML can assist the traffic management staff to prepare cost and revenue estimates, and to manage the range of functions including specifications (tolling and enforcement), and verification of proposals. System contracts would be made directly between the client and the supplier.
RSML would take special attention on the verification of the final results, on the completed project. In all cases, the experience gained from previous urban congestion projects (London , Stockholm etc.) would be used to ensure a cost effective, successful project.
