URBAN PROJECT PLANNING:RSML provides the following planning programs, to develop the urban project. The time planned would be based on the size & complexity of the city or town – with flexibility for special congestion sectors. |
PLAN A
Consulting support for the functions listed on page 1, through to the full discussions with the Mayor & City Council.
PLAN B
Following Plan A, with the decision made on the congestion system to be employed, RSML would provide assistance regarding the potential system suppliers – and on the overall project management.
- specification for congestion solution system, followed by requests for proposals from system suppliers.
- traffic designs for specific sectors – separate from the main congestion system - with requests for proposals e.g. Ramp Metering.
- Validation of the above proposals, by RSML.
- Contract decision by the city, with system suppliers - (incl. installation)
- Validation by RSML, on final project completion (with accuracy check).
PLAN C
Additional requirements by the city or town, including Ramp Metering and 'Hard Shoulder' Management.
